Manta Restaurant & Bar new private dining area offers a unique space; available for meetings, parties, events and functions for up to 32 people. Functions and Weddings

Manta Seafood restaurant Sydney is located in a superb setting with city skyline views and waterfront dining for celebrations and private parties.

The dining room provides an exceptional environment for groups up to 150 guests. Private parties of up to 220 guests enjoy the best waterfront dining Sydney has to offer – encompassing both the dining room and the alfresco dining area on the boardwalk.

Menus can be tailored to meet your requirements whether it is a relaxed family gathering, an exclusive corporate event, social event or harbour wedding reception. Getting to and from Manta is a breeze. Dependant on tidal activity, guests are able to arrive via boat or water taxi with drop off and pick up directly in front of the restaurant. There is plenty of street parking nearby and a public taxi bay at the front of the wharf.


Manta’s focus is on seafood that is both sustainable and very fresh. We know the names of the fishermen who catch our fish, and we know exactly when the fish was caught. This way, we can ensure the absolute freshest seafood for our customers with confidence and certainty.

At Manta we focus on the quality of our meat and our customers always know exactly where the meat is sourced.

Owner Rob Rubis feels passionate about the topic considering his 32 years in the hospitality industry and involvement in over 35 restaurants. “Manta prides itself on good quality produce sourced from reputable suppliers and the Rubis family property, Australia Grassfed Meats” says Rob.

AGM are producing premium grassfed, hormone free, MSA graded beef from their own properties and that of supplier farmers.



Our head chef Daniel Hughes places huge emphasis on fresh produce and, as with the seafood and meat,  he knows the exact source of everything that passes through the Manta kitchen – from the potatoes through to the chocolate. ‘At Manta we are all passionate about produce.
